About Me
John Baldridge

Hi there! Thank you for stopping by!
On this site, you'll find a portfolio of my work as a play-by-play broadcaster, and media relations director.
As a broadcaster, I've called play-by-play at various levels and across many different sports.
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, I grew up always pretending I was behind the mic, calling the games of my favorite teams. While attending Xavier University, I had the incredible opportunity to pursue a career in broadcasting. In my junior year, with the help of the Xavier Athletic Department, I started student radio at Xavier for the first time in recent history and served as the voice of Xavier Women’s Basketball and Xavier Baseball.
I have called games for the Peoria Chiefs (St. Louis Cardinals High-A Affiliate), Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (Northwoods League), Cincinnati Steam (Great Lakes League), and Xavier University (D1, NCAA). I have experience with baseball, basketball, football, soccer, and volleyball.
Beyond play-by-play, I enjoy the challenge of building new relationships in new roles and places while striving to be the best team player. My versatility in sports includes experience in media relations, ticket sales and service, sideline reporting, podcast hosting, social media management, and analysis.
As always, please feel free to reach out and get in touch!
